ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India) urgently requires a Shift Engineer — Electrical & Automation Maintenance for work in Lime Plant and Steel Melting Shop (SMS) at their Hazira, Surat facility. Role involves maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning support and vendor coordination for HT/LT systems, drives and automation equipment.

🎓 Eligibility
- Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Experience: 4–8 Years in electrical maintenance (steel/ heavy industry preferred)
- Level: Engineer / Assistant Manager
अच्छा रहेगा अगर candidate ने steel plant या similar heavy machinery में काम किया हो।

🛠 Responsibilities (मुख्य काम)
- Routine inspection & maintenance of HT/LT motors, transformers, MCCs, PCCs, VFDs.
- Maintenance of drives, bag filter fans, conveyors, EOT cranes and other electrical assets.
- Use condition monitoring tools — IR thermography, insulation resistance, vibration analysis.
- Implement LOTO, permit-to-work और risk assessment प्रक्रिया before works.
- Prepare daily/weekly reports on breakdowns, downtime and KPIs.
- Coordinate with OEMs/vendors for specialized tasks, and support installation/commissioning.

🔑 Key Skills & Tools
- Knowledge of HT/LT distribution, protection relays, switchgear.
- Hands-on with motor control, AC/DC drives, VFDs, soft starters.
- Condition monitoring (IR, Megger), motor testing, vibration analysis.
- Electrical schematics, PLC & basic automation troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with LOTO, safety permits and RCA (root cause analysis).
Automation troubleshooting/PLC experience plus plant-level commissioning experience will be an advantage.
